What’s Inside:
This product is editable by opening in Google Slides or PowerPoint. Then click inside the text box to change the font, font size, or edit the text. Remember to change the state where you grew up, the name of the college you attended, and the grades you’ve taught. If desired, add the date or each student’s name and your name in the closing. You might want to insert a photo of yourself or your family too!
Remember that you might not have the same fonts as my system so if you edit the text, you will probably have to change all of the fonts in that text box so it matches correctly. I am always adding new designs to match popular classroom themes and as new clip art becomes available so you can change it up year after year.
All About Me Flip Booklet is a unique and creative project for the first day or week of school! Students color, cut, and create it! Individualize it with a family page for both girls and boys, respectively.
I have used this All About Me Flip Up Booklet as a growing activity where we do one or two pages a day for the first week of school. Or you could do it all at once as a great first day of school activity.
Have students cut out each back to school all about me flip up book page, answer the questions, color, and then assemble the booklet last. After students have completed the pages, have them share with others in the classroom as a getting to know you activity.
This is a wonderful all about my first entry for the school year in their interactive notebooks. Or you could put them together in a file folder to place on their desks or on a bulletin board to show off for Open House.
The last all about me page is a two-step process where students need to cut out the favorites flaps and then glue onto the last page. Then answer the questions underneath the flaps so they can reveal their answers to their classmates.

You could do this as a partner activity where students interview each other to answer the questions so they can get to know each other better too.
Be sure to take a photograph of each student on the first day of school. Then you can either import the picture when students are finished typing or you can print 4×6’s at your favorite photo center and glue them at the top of their final copies.
